The city of Kalamazoo received nearly $10.7 million from 2005 through 2008 to provide housing, improve neighborhoods and expand economic opportunities for poor- and moderate-income families. Now, independent consultants are asking for public reactions to a draft plan on how Kalamazoo intends to use the federal money it will be awarded from 2010 to 2014.
